So what does this mean? This “too many affiliate marketing skeptical comparisons can be deadly to your success” thing?
It simply means that there are people who go around being overly skeptical to the point that they paralyze themselves because they are looking for some irrefutable PROOF that they WILL be successful utilizing a given system without any sort of output by them based on short-sighted and faulty analysis of someone else’s perceived success in the field in question.
Let’s delve…
The purpose here is to say yes, be diligent. Do your due diligence on whatever company or system that you are considering embracing, but please, whatever you do, don’t become fixated on the success (or not) of others utilizing the same systems and then base your participation on THEIR experience.
How many times can you take a business opportunity or system and gather up several examples of people who are working with it or who have failed in that particular system?
The examples within ANY of these systems abound.
You can easily see examples of people who are super successful and also you can easily find many who have not succeeded and are all too willing to explain why they failed or that it simply is a pipe dream… because THEY failed.
But, those success stories are still there.
Mocking you.
Enticing you to throw all caution to the wind and join.
What is the due diligent skeptic to do?
One doesn’t want to be gullible and be the one telling themselves later on, “I tried to tell you…”
Fear is normal.
No one wants to fail or to feel suckered.
The bottom line here is to look at the ENTIRE industry first and decide, is it sustainable?
Is this business model proven?
So, in this blog I present to you, mainly, the business model of online affiliate marketing.
I give examples of the success of this proven sector.
You need to learn how to do it, and what better way than to learn the ropes in a friendly and cooperative environment that is not a self pushing pyramid?
Wait, what’s that?
The biggest thing that you have to watch out for in this online affiliate marketing industry is there are many systems that are set up where the only way to be successful is to recruit others into the system and the system itself is the main provider of income. You are basically an affiliate ONLY for that company or system, and they are a competitor to every other platform in the space. They provide nothing beyond their own “products”. Having products may be the ONLY thing that keeps them out of government crosshairs, for the time being, but having nothing beyond their own products as a way to generate sales is still a red flag. There is nothing wrong with paying commissions to promote a company’s own system, but being educational for the space, and the ability, as well as full blessing for members to promote ANY affiliate offer, is where you want to be. You shouldn’t have to recruit others to do affiliate marketing and can choose to go the pure affiliate sales route if you desire.
THOSE which are set up to only pay based on recruitment into a company’s own system are what you should be watching out for.
Once you have a system that teaches you the industry and shows you how to be successful in promoting ANY affiliate opportunity, THEN you have something that is true, honest, and real. So what if you can also decide to promote THAT system? That’s fine, but not having to promote “the company” and the freedom to go with promoting any and multiple affiliate opportunities is where you want to be.
So, that’s it.
Of course, in this blog, I happily, and with a clear conscience, provide this to burgeoning affiliate marketers because I know that I am steering them in a positive direction that will teach them correctly AND provide a vast central searchable repository of valid affiliate marketing opportunities to promote online while they are also learning the proper way to conduct themselves online.
This is a real industry so if you approach it like that and learn the right way then you can’t help but eventually become successful.
Stop comparing yourself to others or basing the likelihood of your success on what you THINK others are doing. Asking others how much they are making in the space is also poor form. You aren’t “buying success” by joining with an opportunity. There is no such thing. The only constant here is the quality of the knowledge and what you do with it. Also, understand that how you or someone else puts it all into practice can be the difference between success and failure.
Another thing to watch out for is that when you compare compare compare and are always comparing, slicing, and dicing, and searching… you never end up doing. You stay put. Ka-put (dead in the water) is more like it.
If you want a push-button no-work way to success, it doesn’t exist. If you are one of those impatient lottery seekers then you will, sadly, be ripe for taking advantage of by the unlimited amount of internet scammers preying on the lazy greed of many people online.
