Amway Compensation Plan is the Grandaddy of Network Marketing Powerhouses

Amway is the largest MLM and probably the oldest, too.  It’s been around since 1959 and I think they’ve had their fist 13 billion dollar year recently…  Of course there’s still people out there calling it a scam because they couldn’t make that sort of business work, but you get that with all of the MLM’s. So, lets look at some information regarding the Amway compensation plan, shall we?

Amway expects you to have at least three recruits in your downline who produce, and if you get good production within those three downlines, then the depth of your organization can be amazing, producing life changing income over time.

Think of it like an upside down tree structure, where the branches of each downline grow like roots into the ground, eventually producing great depth for your business.

Yeah, I like the roots analogy.

The whole trick here is to make sure that these keep growing and producing, because if they’re left out to dry, they actually dry up and take your income with them.


Amway Commissions Equals Amway Cash, But How Does the Amway Compensation Plan Work?

Amway expects you to sell the products.  The formula is simple. Buy wholesale, sell retail. So, you have to be a salesperson, or find a way to sell the products. The other way you make money is through what they call, Team Performance Bonuses. Of course there are special promotions and bonuses related to that, but they are not part of the regular standard Amway compensation plan.

Buying wholesale and selling retail will make you 24% – 30% profit. The other way to make money os when your downline producers, and you can earn 3%-25% performance bonus on these “business centers”.  Personal sales volume equals higher percentage earned.

The bottom line here is that you have to have the ability to build a network of distributors who in turn can and will sell the products and build their own networks that duplicate, or do the same.

It’s this way with EVERY network marketing gig, so don’t fool yourself.

The other thing to remember is that EVERY network marketing company has a legion of former failed distributors who couldn’t cut it, all screaming “Scam!”, because it’s human nature to blame everything other than self for failure. It just makes one feel better that they aren’t personally to blame.

Hey, it would be great if every opportunity was easy to duplicate and sell, but they aren’t. Otherwise, everybody would be having stellar success.

Remember also that there are LOTS of people who ARE successful with these businesses, so it’s far from impossible. Everyone in your sphere will try to tell you to not do it, and throw up reason after reason why it wont work for you. You can either listen, or settle for failure without even trying.

Amway and the other companies do not hire sales employees, and distributors are always independent contractors, who are basically affiliates of the company. It’s running your own sales business, folks, and you do it your way within the acceptable practices as defined by each individual direct sales company.
